Energy Efficient Street Lighting Project in Dubai & Abu Dhabi | EURON Energy
On 25 March 2026This project involved the installation of LED street lighting across selected areas in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with a focus on improving road visibility while maintaining energy efficiency.
EURON Energy, a UK-based lighting brand, developed and customized the street lighting fixtures specifically for outdoor conditions in the UAE. The design approach considered durability, consistent light distribution, and long operational life in high-temperature environments.
The project was delivered in the UAE through LED Global, the official distribution and project partner for EURON Energy. Their role included local coordination, supply, and support during implementation.
The lighting system was designed to provide uniform illumination across the road without unnecessary power consumption. Instead of excessive brightness, the solution was optimized to achieve balanced lighting performance suitable for everyday road use.
Attention was given to product reliability and long-term performance, ensuring the lighting remains stable under continuous outdoor operation. The combination of efficient LED technology and practical design helped reduce overall energy usage while maintaining required lighting standards.
This project reflects a functional approach to modern street lighting in the UAE, where performance, efficiency, and environmental conditions are considered together.

Technical Details & Lighting Specifications
The project included a combination of LED street lights and solar street lighting solutions, selected based on location requirements and site conditions.
The lighting systems were configured with different color temperatures to suit specific applications.
6000K cool white lighting was used in main road areas to ensure higher visibility and clarity, improving driver awareness and safety.
3000K warm white lighting was applied in selected zones where a softer lighting effect was preferred, reducing glare and creating a more comfortable visual environment.
Both electrical and solar-powered street lights were utilized. Solar lighting was implemented in areas where energy efficiency and reduced infrastructure dependency were key considerations.
The fixtures were designed for outdoor performance, considering UAE environmental conditions such as high temperature, dust, and continuous operation.
Key considerations in the lighting design included uniform light distribution, reduced energy consumption, and long-term durability.
